We Love Reindeer Lane - We found a new location for lights this year and we are HOOKED! It is just one house, but it is totally worth it. They completely transform the whole outside of their house and synchronize it to music. I think there was at least 5 songs. It’s not one you drive by. You get out and walk and then sit on the grass across the street and watch the performance. The kids get up and play and dance around and the homeowners pass out candy canes. We will definitely go back next year!
So, I cheated with this post and I added ONE more picture. I am ALWAYS behind the camera. That is just how it goes and I really am fine with that. I like to be in control of my camera. This night a nice little old man saw me with my camera and asked if he could take a picture of all of us together. I think I paused for a minute, trying to think how to tell him to work my camera and not particularly WANTING him to take a picture anyway, then I realized I was being rude, so I smiled and quickly handed it over to him gritting through my teeth, whispering to Casey that I was going to hate this picture. I think I cringed when the flash went off. Yuck! I’m a flash snob. Anyway, I hardly have any photos of us all together so I thought I would share this one. We were ALL there enjoying this night and Kaylee had her friend Taeya come share in the fun.
Morale of the story is: I am going to WILLINGLY hand over my camera more often.
